Also, more powerful characters such as Darkseid or Doomsday can handle Father Dagon and Mother Hydra as well, though I cannot comment on how they would retaliate since there is no account of them in combat. The other major entities are Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, who are the progenitors of the Deep Ones (fish people) race but are not Great Old Ones themselves. The only Great Old One in R'lyeh (AFAIK) is Cthulhu (who is in deep slumber). Since you mentioned R'lyeh, I doubt that causing disturbance here would awaken all of the Great Old Ones. Azathoth, Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Shub-Niggurath, Nyarlahotep, Yig, Hastur and 100+ other god and demigod level entities awakening at once and bringing along their equally horrifying minions is a total end of the world scenario. If its all the horrors, then pretty much everyone is fucked. You mean all the horrors from Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos or only the Deep Ones?
